Doctor Who "City of the Daleks" and "Blood of the Cybermen" were my absolute 'first' modern day pc game downloads. Oh, sure, I have had those arcade game discs, played a few games that came with my pc, and been hooked on Facebook games in the past, but playing a pc format game from Gamefly was the best gaming experience I have had in a long time. I am a "DW" fan from waaay back and I dare say I can think "Whovian" with the best of them. I played "Daleks" halfway through, and then played "Cybermen" completely through to the end, then completed "Daleks". The tasks were challenging but not mind-numbing, and Amy keeps the game moving along. I finished both games, playing casually after work, in three days. The games were creative, acurately detailed, and left me wanting more. I run a Dell Inspiron One with Windows 7, and the games ran flawlessly after a little mouse up/down and sensitivity tweaking in the OPTIONS/CONTROLS tab. I am by no means a big time gamer, but for the beginner just looking for the perfect jump-in point, I recommend DOCTOR WHO.

Graphics are pretty decent, Voice Acting is great because they got Matt Smith and Actress that plays Amy Pond to actually do voice acting. Puzzles are fun, collectibles give you back story if you don't already know about past doctors, enemies, etc. The walking and interaction can be a big jumpy but really a fun game. :)

This could be a fun game for a little kid, but not a more experienced gamer. The puzzles offered in this game are way too easy where I was expecting challenging on a Doctor Who level. It's nice that they got Matt Smith and Karen Gillan to voice the roles, but both are not voice actors. It also doesn't help that the character models have no facial animations which really detracts from the experience as well. This may be a fun game for your kid to play, but for fans who are looking for a good Doctor Who game, this is not it.
