Dishonored sales 'far exceeding' predictions

A few years ago, the idea that the sandbox-y first-person stealth-ish shooter could ever find a second wind would be met with sorry sighs. Delightfully, after Deus Ex: Human Revolution last year and now Dishonored, the future's looking grand for the genre time almost forgot. Dishonored publisher Bethesda Softworks has said that sales of Arkane's sneak 'em up are "far exceeding" expectations, and dubbed it "a new franchise." Read more
Dishonored's Dunwall City Trials DLC coming December 11

Three Dishonored DLC packs announced

If you've been clamouring for more Dishonored, you're in luck, but you'll need to hold on a while longer. Publisher Bethesda today announced three DLC packs for Arkane's sneak 'em up, two "story-driven campaigns" and one challenge mode with online leaderboards. The latter, Dunwall City Trials, will be up first, arriving in December at a reasonable $5. Read more

Dishonored video lets you play through parts of a mission

The highly anticipated Dishonored has been touted by Bethesda as a "play it your way" RPG with plenty of options to accomplish the numerous objectives the developer Arkane Studios throws at you during the game. And to illustrate that point, the publisher has released a new interactive "Path to Revenge" video letting you choose your path through a good chunk of one of the game's early missions. Read more
