Perfect

It may just be nostalgia, but this is one of my favorite games of all time. RPG meets FPS in perfect harmony.

Just Plain Doesn't Work

I have no idea if this is a good game or not for the same reason as the three or four other reviews above this one. Which are old enough that I'm assuming they aren't going to bother fixing it. What a shame.

Love this game as much as the next person... when it actually works. Get the black screen of doom and then the Vik message. so yeah... definitly fix this GF,

Wondering,what gives?

I played this game a few years ago. It ran fine on xp with nvidea card,zero problems. It was an interesting game to me.That was with D2D. Now with GF,I have Viktoria error and others. Same computer and everything. I
Black screen, no launch. Is my system bugged? Do I need to do a backwards compat oad?

Viktoria Bug

I downloaded and installed, but each time I try to open and play, it gives the Viktoria Error screen. I've run it as administrator, compatibility troubleshooter, and online troubleshooter. None of these solved the bugs with this game.

Game will not play.

I was not able to play the game, so I did some research to troubleshoot the issue. Here is what I found. When I started the game all I got was a black screen and nothing else. The error is viktoria: error, I had to alt+tab out of the game to see it. This error is due to a video card issue with the game. The only solution is to use a different video card. This does not mean you have a bad video card, just that this game does not work with the one you are using.

Excellent

Great RPG classic of its time.

Note, I did not download this from Gamefly so I cannot speak about this particular download. I can only say that this classic from nearly a decade ago is one of the great RPG stories, just ranking below KOTOR, Max Payne, and such. My rating is based on how it affected me nearly a decade ago. One of classics that everyone who likes RPGs should give a fair shot.

horrid plot
small rooms
arbitrary vents that lead exactly where the doors go
less gameplay
braindead AI
can't give a care about the characters

What's really needed in the next GF client update!

If there's a method for this already, pardon me for not finding it. Something that I think would be extremely helpful for the Unlimited PC Play section (which is awesome and as is a Beta, understandably, there is some room for improvement). I, too, have been unable to play Deus Ex: Invisible War on my computer. After installing, the program just doesn't start. What would really be nice is if there was a specific feedback button for each game, so that frustrating problems like this can be brought to the attention of the awesome people working on this section so that they can bring us our free-gamey-goodness.

Just a (hopefully) helpful suggestion.

BTW, keep up the good work. For the most part everything's working as it should and ME GUSTA!
