Can you guys please stop leaving reviews on how you couldn't get the game to work. That's a tech support issue and has nothing to do with wether the game is fun to play. I want to know if the game is good, that is all...I am guessing the game is better than a bunch of ones?

Perfect

Great oldschool game!

TO FIX THE GAME:

Copy the "descent 3" folder from it's original location
Paste that folder in C:\ (your hard drive)

This will remove the "Access Violation" you recieve, I'd also reccomend patching to 1.4 (NOCD) as well. There is also some tweaking that needs to be done to prevent the game from going into "1/4 screen" mode.

HONESTLY WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? THE GAME IS 13 YEARS OLD, OF CORSE IT NEEDS WORK TO PLAY!!!

Works great on vista!!!! for you people having problems play with your sound/ video settings change them around will not work on 7 sorry
