Darksiders for PC Reviews by Gamers

I have been playing this game on and off for about 9 months. It is an awesome game with a pretty interesting story line. I originally started the game on normal difficulty as I usually do and found the game to be extremely hard. Once you choose your difficulty in the beginning, you cannot change it later in the game. In addition to the sometimes difficult Tomb Raider style puzzles (cool stuff), there are bosses that will have to be fought as many as 10 times in order to beat them (long 20 minute battles each time). You can save time by reading walk throughs online (highly recommended), as it is not readily obvious how to defeat some of the bosses and finding your way to wear you need to be can be downright puzzling at times (E.g. the Ash Lands). I took some time off and started the game over on easy hoping to have a more enjoyable gaming experience. I found it to be just as difficult on easy. Despite the difficulty I keep coming back for more punishment, as the story is amazing and the game play is truly fun when not facing one those insane bosses. I am hoping Darksiders two will be less difficult. I plan to give that a spin once I get through this one. I has its moments of fun, but you may want to breakout the xanax before you start.
