the game is actually almost as good as those (Penumbra_ Alrighty then. Maybe not the quality of Penumbra. However the graphics and the environmental effects: Eg. Sounds and creepy effects are fairly well used. So the experience in the whole game has to be played thru and thru before you cut it in half and say this "is what it is". It has to be experienced for what it is.
It uses certain effects to its advantages. Including the effect that youre alone and solving a murder. Not exactly Condemned stuff, but more of a "Point and Click" mentality is required here.
Also You should do these 3 things before Ever , I mean Ever purchasing a downloaded game:
1) Maybe youre machine is need of over-hauling: Get a good cheap graphics card (At least 512 MB) Have another 1GB of RAM put in just for sakes (sake). And make sure if you dont have a Dual Core, to just go easy on the graphics and Turn (EVERYTHING WAY DOWN).
2) Make sure if youre OS(That is Operating System for you non computer buffs) Eg. Mine will run most game just perfectly on a "XP" based windows . But youre if it is Vista or 7 good luck. I stay away from game that (Requires is or that only for it to run).
3) Also, Dont expect much if you dont pay much for it. I am usually pleasantly surprised by how good some (Usually independant games) are once I get them up and running. And by that I mean have youre Computer Overhauled (See #1 under my suggestions)
