The actual single player is fun, but short. You can finish it in just a few hours. This is not the reason to buy the game though. It is all about the multi-player. The game requires teamwork and strategy to excel. The destructible environment is still not able to be reproduced by MW3, and adds an entirely different dimension to the game. This game is not just running and gunning, nor is it an arcade mockery of war like MW. While not as realistic as some other shooters (ARMA) it is still far beyond all other modern shooters in realism. The maps are huge in comparison to other games. The "RUSH" mode is very good at simulating an actual battle line scenario where you can't let yourself be outflanked, outmanuevered or let the enemy get behind your lines. The sound and graphics are really good, while the music is just average. The replayability is eternal, and the game can run on about any computer less than 2 years old without a problem. I highly recommend this game.
