Amnesia: The Dark Descent for PC Reviews by Gamers

An amazing game for those looking for a scare that doesn't involve a 1/2 second window in which something pops out, you kill it and move on. The game has amazing atmospheric build-up and has you terrified long before anything actually attacks you. By forcing you to hide from your enemies rather than gunning them down the game provides a truly memorable psychological survival horror experience. Definitely worth playing.

I love a good video game, and love a good horror video game even more. and to me 'Amnesia" delivers on both counts. Visually striking and excellent sound blend with a very smooth gameplay experience, and more then once I found myself to be actually nervous at the sound of the 'monsters' as they approached. I have almost always been a console Gamer, but switching over to the controls for this game was far easier of an acclimation then I thought it would be. So Kudos to the good folks at Frictional games whom took the time and trouble to make this wonderful game! Thank you ever so much
