I love blowing stuff up, and watching bodies fly, it's got all of that, it's missions are fun, and somewhat challenging, the only downside is the graphics, its in black and white the whole time, emphasizing a night vision infrared camera... but other than that, it is fun

Those are expected in a low bugdet game. It is the terrible design that ruined it. Do you know why Infinity Ward didn't put "collateral damage" in with the AC-130 mission? Because it takes away the fun of being in control of 3 powerful, flying cannons. So does SAM"s. The only improvement over Call of Duty is that protecting ground forces in this game makes you feel powerful, is important to success, and doesn't feel like a dull "escort mission". A small but welcome victory. Unfortunatly that is about it.
Pros:
It's black and white so the graphics can't be that bad.
COD's fomula is sound.
Protecting ground forces works.
Cons:
Underpowered weapons (or tanks made of diamond)
SAM's
Collateral Damage

I am glad to see an attempt to add improvements and depth to COD, but it would have been better if the landscape were the only change.

Take control of the guns of a heavily-armed ground attack aircraft! "AC-130: Operation Devastation" takes you through missions in recent U. S. military history, including Vietnam, Panama, and Iraq.

This game is a straight-up shooter controlled primarily from the mouse (you'll occasionally use the keyboard to pop flares or check the map). Players looking for a flight sim are fore-warned: you have no control over the aircraft itself.

Pros: Unlimited ammunition and reasonable mission objectives make this game fun to play.

Cons: To mimic the AC-130's night vision capabilities, the game is entirely in black and white. Models, particularly enemy soldiers, are blocky - a noticable lack of eye-candy.
