My 11 year old son and I played this non-stop from start to finish. This isn't simply a "hidden object" game, but takes place in a variety of locations you need to explore, solve puzzles -as in finding objects to make machines or spells work, clear areas to make new locations or components of puzzles appear, and pay attention to clues given along the way. Items in locations change and you need to remember where you've seen objects. Incorporating all of the unlocked "levels" into the gameplay rather than simply moving beyond them also kept it interesting as there were more and more places to search for clues or objects, go back and see if we'd missed a clue, etc.
The game difficulty was perfect for us to play together-not so simple to be boring, not too difficult to quit in frustration-some things were very easy to accomplish, others took quite a bit of analytical thought. Nice smooth graphics, interesting story line and really fun to be able to play a video game with my son that involved thought rather than reflexes alone. When we finished it, we immediately hoped to find the "next chapter" to play, or a similar game. I downloaded another which had even better 3D graphics, but it's more on par with Myst, much more difficult and after a half an hour of walking around searching for clues, trying numerous combinations and getting nowhere, we quit.
This game was alright for what it is. I was looking for something a little more complex than a simple hidden pictures game. If you like those kind of games then this might just be the one for you. My seven year old son did lke to help out as I played, which kind of made me realize, maybe I'm just too old for this game.
When it comes to puzzle/point and click games, there's not too much I haven't seen done already. This game was able to bring in some refreshing point and click style puzzles without being too bland or overly predictable. The story was simple but helped keep everything going and pieced together.
Gameplay was simple. If you're looking for something really challenging, this isn't it. I'm not saying it was so simple that no thought needed to be put into anything at all, but it wasn't so complicated that I felt I was going to pull my hair out at any point. Movement was easy, especially with using the map.
The art and sounds were very well done. The only thing I that bothered me was the chime sound for picking up items. Reminds me too much of Hidden Picture games on Newgrounds.. though this game did remind me of a few games you could find on the internet. I don't know if I'd recommend this game for purchase, but if you like puzzle/point and click games, I would recommended it for the UPP.

Very fun and addicting, but, short game. It has it challenging moments and makes you use your brain throughout the game. Why I rated it a 9 instead of a 10 is because some challenges can be very frustrating. I had to cheat because I'm impatient lol. So, if you do like games that has you thinking, definitely look into this.
This is my favorite type of game. I love to challenge my mind constantly. It is not for the sort who like action games. It is a screen by screen kind of game that is ALL puzzles. All puzzles is my favorite kind though.
