I wouldn't recommend this game to my worst enemy. Other than the use of a putter and club there is absolutely 0 realism to this game. I mean par11 on what would normally be a par3-4 at best with a properly coded game. Dont get me wrong the holes themselves are unique and very creative... what you can see of them...
The holes are full of resolution errors where the landscape just disappears completely. Not to mention the fact the there is no way to see where the cup is until it gets within view of your ball so you just have to guess where you think it might be.
As far as the actual putting I've never seen anything programed so poorly. Take for example a max power perfect shot on the "fairway" of the hole if you call it that that goes a grand total of about 3ft before coming to a screeching halt without hitting anything. Wanna try a bank shot? Forget about it... Apparently the programmers had no sense of geometry or physics. Attempted to bank on several occasions and the ball simply stopped, followed the wall instead of bouncing off it at equal angles, or bounced straight up in the air.
Summary DON'T waste your time with this horrible title. Bad resolution errors, zero camera angle, and elementary at best programming makes this by far the worst game I have ever attempted to play even over the Atari ET. That was somewhat playable at least.
