Game Description
The world is your coloring book in this adventure that is packed with action and filled with color. de Blob returns to preserve a color-safe world as the battle against black and white continues! Comrade Black and the Inkies have hatched a new scheme to erase color from everything. Restore Prisma City to its vibrant form by using custom paints, patterns, and music in almost any way you can imagine. Use power-ups to squash enemies, smash through walls, and soar over skyscrapers, leaving a colorful trail of paint and destruction behind you. Complete new side-missions, fight bigger boss battles, and share the splatter with friends in new co-op multiplayer modes.

I'd say de Blob was one of the few games of recent years that really demanded a second chance. There were some great ideas in the 2008 Wii platform game, and the 2011 follow-up builds on almost all of these, while also bringing the franchise to Xbox 360 and PS3. De Blob is back, and so is his arch nemesis, Blank in De Blob 2 (it was going to be called De Blob Underground).
