The combat is so cheap and broken it's pretty pathetic this game is as popular as it is.

Some people may like this game. These people being AD&D fans. This game was what Gamefly was talking about when they made that commercial with gamers loosing their minds.

First I would like to say, I've been playing the 360 version for "only" 24 hours now, but I've played Witcher 2 mostly on the PC since it first came out almost a year ago. This game is absolutely "amazing" no matter what platform it's on. Just be prepared to play this game for roughly 30-40 hours. And don't miss ONE quest, this game is Fable x20. No joke. The main quest story is amazing and longer than you would think. The stories in the main and side quests are as good as it gets. The gameplay transitions perfectly to the Xbox 360 version as well as the cinematics, with the same amazing combat. The only negative I can really pick at about The Witcher 2, which by the way Microsoft has NO control over is the graphics. Yesterday I booted both my PC version and my 360 version to compare graphics and performance. Just to clear up my PC specs: i7 960 Quad core, 12GB DDR3 RAM & 2x Radeon HD 5970s Crossfire 4GB total 4VRAM. When I looked at both screens to compare, it's clear the graphics were toned down a LOT on the 360. And I laughed a little. But the graphics aren't the "meat & cheese" of this game. I must say this game runs extremely well on the 360, props to Warner Brothers and CDProjekt studios for optimizing the 360 version masterfully! Get this game, or you're insane!
