The game had a good engine and a good story and combat was fun but could have been improved if the camera didn't lock to your characters back. And that's just one fatal flaw. Another is the game rarely gave you a quest marker so you never have any clue where to go, so you spent half your time looking up walk troughs. Another fatal flaw was lack of fast travel. While the game took place in separate small open world areas a fast travel still would have been amazing. So you spend the other half of your time just walking places and with out a sprint button it took ages. Very big flaw right there. Another bad part of the game was walking looked fake and robotic, he walked like I've never seen someone walked before. Poor motion capture I would guess. Another bad part was while some of the age seemed very well done there a few parts where they seemed to have slacked and not given it there all. Like the audio some characters voices were of poorer quality while some were louder and some were quieter so I was constantly changing the volume on my monitor. The game received great reviews which I fail to understand why seeing as there so many flaws. All in all it was just bad. Had great potential and an enticing story but the gameplay was just appalling in my opinion.
Was enjoying this game until I ran into a game breaking glitch that prevented me from continuing the main quest. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I have returned the game to Gamefly without beating the main quest (very unusual for me).
Because of this, I can not in good conscience give this game a rating higher than 3 stars.
I saw the first cutscene when you put the cd in and thought wow this game is going to be great...but for me at least the controls were extremley annoying, the dialogue was terrible, the game didnt flow, I had to send it back after 3 hours just couldnt play it ( Never sent a game back before without completing it)
