Game Description
Sonic Generations celebrates the franchise's 20th birthday by gathering the best of Sonic's past and wrapping it into an experience that's part flashback and all fast-track. Sonic's world has been punctured by time holes. Play as two versions of Sonic, one current, one classic. Race into the environments of Sonic's past where you'll encounter memorable Sonic characters. Free your old friends by completing levels and they'll join you on the adventure. But your friends aren't the only ones who are waiting for you. You'll have to defeat some of the most powerful enemies Sonic has ever faced to plug the time holes and conquer the mysterious force that unleashed them.

I played the 360 version prior to this one and finished it. I was expecting a much more dumbed down experience with this one than it was. It looked very similar to the 360 counterpart.
