yes folks, it looks like sega has finally decided to listen to their fanbase; their all but unpleasable, nitpicky, fanbase. Yes sonic unleashed was good, but it wasnt what fans wanted at that time, so it was kinda unwise to make it when they did. This game on the other hand came at the exact right time that it needed to, restoring the fans faith that sonic is still alive. I'm actually on the fence about which mode I like better, the 3d or the 2d, I guess I'll have to play this game again to get a solid opinion. But I assure you, I WILL play this game again. Like sonic colors and UNLIKE sonic unleashed, this game's grading system is much more leniant and more forgiving for screw ups. The hub world on the other hand seems a good bit unnecessary; this seems more like a "level select" kind of game. The controls are actually pretty solid in both modes and the challenge is balanced okay, but like unleashed, expect spagonia to kick your butt. Thats really all I have to say
8/10 glad to have you back in the spotlight sonic ;)
