First of let me start with one thing, im a HUGE fan of the silent hill series, i've played all 3 of them except the psp one (huh? there was a fourth? hmm...i dont recall a fourth one... and i've loved them all (i kid about the fourth, it was ok but not a real SH game). anyway, lets talk about the story
Story at best is a 9 out of 10, it had good story and flow, but the endings to it were fairly bare to the people that dont look into it and come with their own conclusions, but anyone playing silent hill shouldnt expect the story to just get spoon fed to you.
Combat - it's good, im willing to say it's great, it's like taking an old franchise where it's hard to shoot something, and then making it 10 times better....well..that is what they did. does it reduce the scare factor? not one bit.
so far the only bugs i have run into is skipping a scene right before a timed button press, or cutting through something, and hit A to examine while still in an action will lock you there in place, this is only at the end of the game though.
ok, now, for a good talk about the story. the story is very good, it's very reminant of past silent hill stories in the way that it leaves it open for debate, but still likes to progress the story at a nice pace.
