The previous games under this umbrella are better. The camera angles are weak. The monsters are childish and on a scariness level its a 1 out of 10. I would pass on this game and take it out of your gameQ ASAP!

This game has a long intro which is fine. It does not seem like they put too much effort into graphics, but then again it is a horror games and most horror games have bad graphics. It's a silent hill game that lives up to the horror genre and well not disappoint if you are looking for a scare.
Downpour does a few things right, but the good points are so thoroughly eclipsed by the awful combat that it's not even worth going into them. The combat absolutely ruins the experience. It is, without question, the worst I can remember in any game I've played in my life. It's unmanageable, cumbersome and infuriating in every possible way.
If only the final section didn't depend on it so much (and didn't also simply take away all the health packs and ammo I'd hoarded the entire time for that exact possibility), I might have even finished the game. Absolutely appalling.
