Saints Row Does What Grand Theft Auto Can't Do

I have never played any Saints Rows game prior to this one. Let's just say I was in for a treat.
As I began playing SR:TT I realized it reminded me quite a bit of GTA. After I put a couple hours in it this brilliant game I thought, "No, this game is better than any Grand Theft Auto game." Yeah, I said it.
What does this game have to offer a player? Hours of action packed fun, extreme levels of customization for pimping out cars, fantastic characters, an interesting and unique story, and an uncanny sense of humor. There is no game like Saints Row: The Third. Seriously, BDSM clubs, smacking people with a giant purple di:ldo, running around the city collecting drugs and s/e/x/ dolls, clones...no you can't name a game like it.
I wanna give the writing crew kudos. Every character was fantastic and funny. The storyline was strong and definitely could stack up against some of those big name games.
The voice actors did a superb job. Oh yeah, SASHA freakin' GREY voiced over a character. For someone who had a work history like her's to do that well on a first time voice over is unheard of. Viola was awesome.
I know this review is scatter-brained but that's what the ending of this game did to me. Speaking of which, the ending was amazing. I ultimately choose to save my crew and I totally loved, "Holding Out For A Hero", being blasted from my TV speakers, it added so much to the climax of the game.
Saints Row brings the fun back in game-play and kept me playing for 40+ hours. On a side-note, I probably spent 20 hours jacking sweet looking cars and pimping them out. Every single nuance and element of this game came together for a bloody brilliant game.
