Absolutely LOVE this game! It has different lots of different challenges that vary in difficulty. Some of the challenges are easy enough that my two kids (ages 6 and 9) can play them and some are challenging enough to keep me (28) entertained. You'll soon find out if you have rhythm or not! If you love music, I definitely recommend giving this game a shot.

I put this game in my GameQ simply because I love music games. Music games are my favorite genre. Obviously, when I heard of this game, I expected something that was fun to play and I would end up keeping in the long run. I've had this out for less than a day - I'm sending it back soon. Very soon.

See, the problem is not that the game is bad in a sense, just brutally hard. This is supposed to be a kids game - but instead every time I fail I'm being insulted and I'm very likely to fail because of how the game likes to nitpick EVERY SINGLE THING YOU DO WRONG. In fact, you wont even know you've failed. You beat the minigame you're playing and then it says something along the lines of "You need to work on your timing", and you say something along the lines of "(bleep)" because as far as anybody knows you hit everything right on time.

As a result, you're not going to get many medals or unlockables - they all focus on your ability to get a Superb on a minigame. The problem, as I said up there, is that it's nearly impossible to even get an OK. More likely than not you'll be using the feature that allows you to fail a song 3 times and then tell the Bartender at the Cafe to have you skip it. The only easy game is the first one.

On another note, and arguably the most important, the music itself. This is a music game. I understand that yes, music is much better on console music games, but on DS the music is a pixelated mess... oh, that's right, the DS has the capibilities to sound 80% like the consoles. So exactly why is it that the music here isn't real music but instead a collection of sounds and random voice samples? Usually you wont hear the music in the first place because it's buried under the sounds of you hitting your stylus against the screen and sliding it like a maniac.

I'm fed up with this game, I'm just going to put it in the package and be done with it. Don't try with this is you get frustrated easily, that's all I have to say.
