Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
I'll start with the single player, this game sticks to the story pretty well. All the characters seem really balanced, the assortment of weapons aren't that bad. And it's pretty cool to see how umbrella dealt with this T-Virus incident.
Now these are the issues I found, The levels are really dark. I kicked the gamma to the max and at some moments I still can't see anything. I also found the cover system a bit irritating I'll be checking for doors to open to find certain items and my character would start ducking for cover. I started playing alone and I saw the computer controlled players would run into fire instead of going around it. Killing themselves and not using their abilities when they should, which really made playing this game alone very difficult. I found myself rescuing them all the time, Due to this I choose to play with some of my buddies. That's when the game got a lot better. As long as you have human players the game is isn't that bad.
The Multi player was decent, I found it fun to battle against others as your being attacked by zombies. like I said before the fact that the game is really dark and the cover systems needs a bit of work gave me some issue's. I give this game a 6 its worth a play through with friends to see the story. It would be an even greater game if they fixed some of the issues I found and give you a roll or flip button to dodge incoming attacks like gears of war.

I don't know why people are so dissapointed in this game. Yes the campaign fell way short but thats not all the game has to offer. The Online modes are a lot of fun and are obviously making people keep the game. One thing I wish they would add would be a Horde mode but that is minor to the overall picture. Campaign will have Spec Ops missions so you will get to see more what they were doing during the story, this (in my opinion) is there chance to fix what went wrong in the U.S.S campaign. It is truly overall a great game, yes campaign fell short but lets be honest do you keep a game to play its campaign over and over? No you keep it because it has good multiplayer and if you ask me the mulitplayer is absoultly fantastic, but this might just be my style. Any one who reads this should as least try the game don't stray away because IGN gave it a bad review.

I dont know why it's getting so much hate, this game was pretty kick butt.. Big fire fights, lots of blood, zombies, monsters..lots of action. Its not traditional RE, which to me is fun but gets boring and too dramatic quickly. This game is faster paced and more of an arcade shooter which is more my style.

The game is just overall lacking the polish and fine details that would make it a really great game. Still fun though.
