What was a desire for hopeful fun turned into a shooter nightmare. This game operates better with team players. If you play alone you cannot command the three AI team members traveling with you. Understand they are mostly stupid with agro and no strategy. You waste time upgrading for skills and buying weapons that don't make a difference in solo story campaign because they don't work the way a fan would expect. Instead the focus should have been on upgrading weapon accuracy, damage and player defense. Expect to miss A LOT! You shoot someone dead in the face and they still come at you. FROM THIS POINT ON IS ALL SPOILER AND I'M GLAD TO RUIN IT SO YOU DON'T WASTE MONEY BUYING THIS GAME. You go through battle after battle with enemies of the same type that seem to have varying high levels of hit points. You do anything clever and the game will cripple you, i.e. bleeding or infecting you so it can catch up or just seem like it's challenging but it's more annoying. By the end the rules of armor go out the window and even though you know Leon Kennedy is supposed to live if you choose to execute him he has no real armor in appearance but can withstand many grenade launcher shots for some reason. Plus what looks like two of your strongest team AI will turn on you to help Leon. However, you could defend him but why even bother attacking him at all for the company (Umbrella)that gave the gift (T-Virus) that keeps on giving. Rent this only and you will be way more satisfied; but you will wonder after a level or two why play this at all. Save the money for Resident Evil 6 though now I'm hesitant about purchasing that edition when it releases. I'm a firm believer in seeing enemy hit points soley for the purpose of knowing I'm not being jacked. I feel like I've been shooting enemies and started questioning why is it taking different amount of bullets to drop the same enemy. Hunting secrets is the only replay value but you'll wonder if it's even worth the time.

This is absolutely Horrible i do like a few things but its a total downgrade in game play. the only thing that made me play it was graphics and achievements. First thing i didnt like was the reduce in ammo amount you can have. Seriously 2-3 clips for primary yet like 8 clips for pistol when pistol dose next to NO damage against any of the super enemies. 2nd thing ABILITIES. Seriously When did RE become like every other game out there. Abilities are lame. It lost its unique fell. and im not gonna go on about anything more because i feel like ive said enough.
