Comes off as a cheap imitation Fallout, but a well made imitation. Graphics are great the story is just recycled Fallout lore, man from the past walks out into the Wasteland and fights mutants and survivors. Be good, be bad, be whatever you want to be but most Wastelanders will want something from you in order to make the game progress.
So I had high hopes for this game, and overall, they were met. Just to be clear, I only played campaign, not multiplayer. Let's start with the positives:
GREAT Graphics. The landscapes were great, the framerate was sick (especially if you install the disc on your device) and there was a ton of detail. Very little screentearing.
Very interesting plot, I was super engaged.
The weapons were fun to switch up and the different ammo types were pretty sweet, but there wasn't much in the way of weapon customization.
Voice acting was very believable.
And now we'll move to the bad:
The driving mechanics were fairly sad and not realistic. Apparently you can hit your boost and go wicked fast, and stop almost on a dime. Not a huge deal, but it did take away from the realism a bit.
The game was incredibly short. I burned through it in about 10 hours, and that includes all side quests. Also, the last battle of the game was stupid easy, I didnt even realize it was a battle at all!
All in all, I enjoyed the game, but it left me hanging a bit. I wish it had gone on longer and that the ending would have made me feel like I accomplished something. I'd recommend playing it, but don't expect a grand epic.
