Prototype 2 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

When the first Prototype game came out, true gamers loved it while major reviewers (IGN, XPlay, etc.) thought it was average. That trend continues in Prototype 2. Ignore all the reviews you may have heard or read, this game is fantastic. It's been two years after the first outbreak and now a new one has emerged. Instead of playing as Alex Mercer, you play as Sgt. James Heller who wants to kill Mercer for killing his family. Turns out he gives Heller the Mercer Virus and he now has all the powers that Alex has. The rest of the story is a mind trip so I don't want to reveal much but I will say that this has a much easier story to follow and more fun than the last game. Gameplay still is as bloody and crazy as ever. From pouncing on enemies with your claws to ripping off the head of a tank, this really is stupid fun. You can still take control of the tanks and helicopters, but what's more fun is to rip off their weapons from the vehicles and use them to your advantage. My only gripe is that there could have been a multiplayer and some areas could be designed better. However, if you love to run around slaughtering humans, zombies, and mutants, this is truly for you.

I played and beat the game yesterday. All I can say it was good to the end. But there were some problem feel like I am doing same thing over and over again, the caught is your building your power for several missions, and the last battle. If you like sandbox and feeling like true bad to the bone. This game will keep you going. It's slow in the beginning but you keep it going doing blacknet missions, you'll enjoy it.
