This game is an amazing replacement for kids who enjoy shooting and killing games (yes, there are many out there). There is NO blood and includes tons of characters that both the kids and the parents recognize.

I actually purchased this game because I accidentally activated the free PSVita version on my account while renting it. It turns out to be a fun addicting game. However very repetitive. Like I said in the title, it keeps the little ones entertained. And after I gave up on anything Nintendo that isn't Zelda, I've been waiting for something to properly fill the shoes of Smash Bros. And this comes close.
To be honest, this game is good but there are some things about it I would change. For starters, the graphics are excellent. The characters in the game are good but I think I would like a bit more variety such as Lara Croft or some of the AC characters to be included. The only thing I didn't like about this game is that the combat system blows. All I did in this game was jump around trying to score a hit. That is unacceptable. The character's attacks are way too easy to dodge/block and it's hard to get them to really face you in battle. But, other than that, the arenas were good in that you could tear things up. And the sound was good as well. The only other thing I didn't like was the score/kill system. Instead of just knocking out folks or killing them, you had it where you just accumulated "kills" and tried to avoid getting killed yourself. I say just fix it where you knock out/kill your opponent once and that's it. Also, every time you lose in one-player tournament mode, you have to start all over. That is very annoying! In the end, this game was good, but it could've been far better. After playing it once for an hour, I was ready to return it to Gamefly. Good thing I didn't buy it!
