This is a solid game. Has lots of long fast battles. at times its very much less than easy. It has been streamlined in many ways. Linear path with helpful where to now feature if lost, no pickups or collectibles, no real backtracking or retreading areas, and of course no extraneous weapons. you get kitana, kunai, and a bow for most of the game. Dlc to add new weapons is supposedly coming soon, free. There's plenty of wicked manuevers new and old for slicing enemies. Many of which involve quick time events, small as they are. Multi player works well, and trials are sufficiently trying. Its definitely not all it could have been but its not the bore fest ign and others would have you believe.

i am a big fan of ninja gaiden series. this game is a renter. it is not in the same league with NG2, not even the same type of game. this is more of a story line that you participate in (kind of). unfortunately they took out all of the upgrade options from NG2. the game is worth playing through provided you don't think of it as a ninja gaiden game. rent it and send it back.

Well its fast pace i will tell you that not to bad really fun super fun. Ive been playing this game since i had to ask my big brother can i play lol. Like i said if you insist on getting games off reviews then your going to be missing out on alot of really great titles. Get this one if your a true fan you will respect what they tried to do with the series.
