Ninja Gaiden 3 is by no means a BAD game. It simply gets very monotonous. You can clear a whole room simply by tapping X. The difficulty is gone, as is the satisfaction once gained from clearing a tough area. I could clear entire areas without looking at the screen while fighting. Players new to the series might not even notice. The other bad thing...they removed the orbs that were used in the precious installments that allowed you to upgrade weapons. All of the RPGish elements have been removed. The camera moves around so much that it can get disorienting. Luckily, you can click in the right stick to "sense" the path you need to take. The graphics are good, the story is okay..not great..kind of convoluted, even though NGs stories never were the selling point...but, all in all, I'd say it deserves a 5 or 6. Very mediocre...so sad that Ninja Theory took this direction for a once great series.
this game is pretty cool. there is a lot of blood and fast ninja moves, but... i think its a bad case of the "too little, too late". i did enjoy it and it is cool to climb walls with knifes and its cool it takes place over the whole world but not open world. it is hard to play all these great epic open world games then play this one. very repetitive. i wish u could plan your attacks and be more stealthy in many ways more than just one way. it does look cool and a treat after a long days work. but no replay value. maybe try it, but dont buy it.
