im kinda new at these ncaa football games. never played them alot probably because the absurdity of trying to play as a defensive tackle on 08 and 09. not to mention the fact if you play cornerback you never have the ball thrown to thee guy your covering unless you play 10 yards away from him and hope you can cover him in time. but as far as playing tackle on ncaa 12 they put the spin moves on the right analog stick and doesnt cramp your fingers like the shoulder buttons on the previous games. havent played much offense on ncaa 12 but im gonna read some reviews before i try. thank you ea for making it easier and more fun to play tackle for big guys like me who plaayed in the trenches when we were younger
The game is average at best. Graphics are poor, franchise mode is full of flaws. I have had some fun with the game. It is worth a rent but not a buy. Also this pay to play thing EA sports is doing is lame.
Its the only way I will ever see UCLA win the National Championship so it has that working for it.
Normally I'm not a college football kinda person but I figured I would give this a try and I'm very happy. The Dynasty feature seems very involved and lets you really look at what position and type of player you want. Also new is the ability to bring in or boot teams from your conference (Texas A&M is already out of mine...guess who my team is). The presentation of the game actually feels like your watching College Gameday on ESPN and Kirk Herbstreit tips are frosted to perfection. All in all this game is a keeper and gets into more than just the football game, it gets you into the strategy of planning out your dynasty. The only thing I would say is missing from the game is being able to withhold information from the NCAA compliance commities and having to resign your position as head coach of you team.
