Excellent Story, Solid-ish Mechanics

I'll keep it short and sweet, This game is EPIC. The cutscenes seamlessly flow into the gameplay perfectly. This feature alone makes the entire game feel as though you're actually playing through a movie, its really incredible. The Story is engaging and very action packed and is narrated so well that you feel like your a part of Max's world. The mechanics are pretty good for a 3rd person shooter however they could be better. I wish there was a smoother way to hop over objects or rails, just a small gripe, but the level designs aren't super linear, so there's alot of maneuvering throughout levels and some of the movements could have been added to make it flow a little bit better. However the Bullet time is freaking awesome. Neo from the Matrix meets Jason Statham , haha I love it. You feel like a bada$s in every gunfight, yet you can die pretty quickly if you don't take cover so its not too easy. As for this game, its definitely worth a rent, and if your a fan of the series buy it, Rockstar definitely nailed it on this one, and it would be a shame not to experience what they have to offer.
