Wow. Just let me begin by saying how incredible this series truly is. While each game had its flaws (ME1: Strange combat/cover system was deeply flawed/searching planets was extremely boring; ME2: Lack of weapons and armor, low level cap; ME3: ENDING!!), the story, the very idea of the game was the most dynamic and beautiful thing ever put into disc format. This is the only game in which I have actually felt something for the characters in it. And this ending... this half-arsed, r#tarded, illogical, disgraceful ending left the most amazing game series ever with a bad note. But take heart, my fellow comrades; "The Truth" dlc shall save our endings! Shepard shall live on not as legend, but as a tangible hero. Hoo-yah, Alliance soldiers.
Bought the game just a few days ago and had to say I was hooked from the get go. While their are some things that disappointed me like the ending and no bypassing mini games. It still delivered an intense game that could keep me entertained at hours on end.
This game was amazing. For me, I honestly can't think of a game that I enjoyed as much as this one. EA and Bioware have consistently delivered, and this game may be among their best ever. It's every bit a cinematic experience as it is a game. The story was engrossing, the drama was gripping, and the action was intense. The music was also pretty creative. If you're a hardcore RPG fan as well as a Sci-Fi fan, this game is exactly what you're looking for. In many ways, it reminded me of The new Battlestar Galactica series, which was released on the sci-fi channel not long ago. (an excellent series by the way). Honestly, this was a fantastic piece of work by this studio. Enthralling. I think this game definitely improved upon ME2. Scanning planets was a lot easier, even more enjoyable. Great game.
I won't ruin the end. All I can tell you is I wanted a bit more warm and fuzzy. The other thing is that it seems this truly is the end of the series, which also makes me sad. What can I say? I mean, it would be great to know there's another installment on the way but the way the game ended and the way the story was told, it seemed kind of "final". It can be slightly glitchy at times but just slightly. I guess that's what happens when everyone is stressed and trying to get the game out on time. Thank you EA and Bioware, for another fantastic experience, even much better than the last one.
