What else can I say? This game is so much fun and filled with all kinds of cool games. My daughter is hooked! I've had the game out for almost a month now and she's still not ready to return it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up buying this one. I would have given a 10 for the rating, but it doesn't let you play teams like the previous version. Other than that, the game is perfect.

First off Love love love Mario Party, I've played all of them that have been released and I think it's a great series.

What great about this game was the following:

New mini games! They were fun and sometimes challenging because I was too lazy to really read what to do.

The board were great some were longer than others but they were fun and had great quirks that put some strategy into your turn.

Boss fights!! These were super fun mini games and they were game changers for score.

New format, gone is the everyone rolls then let's play a mini game. It's random now which makes the game go quite a bit quicker!

What wasn't so great about this title:

As normal it's a party game so seeing as how I haven't had a chance to play it with more than 1 of my friends I didn't get the full experience of playing with a full group. There is a solo mode and I would say I'm pretty good Mario Party player but on Solo mode too many coincidences of the computer getting the exact thing they need like let's say in 3 spaces something bad would happen. I go third you guessed it they both roll a 1 and it wouldn't happen once during the game it'd happen at least 10 times.

The other thing I'm still on the fence about is everyone moving in 1 car. Gone is the race towards the stars. There are no coins and it's just whomever collects the most mini-stars wins. I think that took some of the strategy out of it and can leave parts of the board unexplored as when it comes to right or left EVERYONE is going the same way.

However as you can see I still rated it quite high and that's because it's still a great game. Not sure if I will be buying it right away as for a single player or the odd two player experience not sure the value is there but 3-4 player experience I would pick it up in heart beat!
