Mario Party 9 for Wii Reviews by Gamers

I am one of the biggest mario party gurus out there. I still have mario party 1. So of course when this came out, I was excited, until I read some of the reviews. But being hard head I decided to try it out. I mean how bad can it be, right? Well, if you love mario party, then this game will disappoint, majorly. You are in a car with other people so everyone moves together, the computers cheat and can screw you when you think you are doing good, there are no coins or candies, and you have to land on a mini game spot in order to play mini games. Now the mini games themselves are pretty good, there are some references to the older mini games from the older mario parties. So I guess its it worth trying out, but I would not buy it. Hopefully the designers of this mario party realize their mistake and revamp mario party 10 to where it needs to be. The saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" fits perfectly with this game.
