Game Description
Oddly original RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia returns with a new story and streamlined gameplay. The four anime goddesses known as CPUs (Console Patron Units) - video games personified - have been captured. It's up to their younger sisters to save the day. Play as young CPU candidate Nepgear and travel through the world of Gamindustri, fighting the evil Arfoire and battling monsters on a quest to free your sister Neptune. Combat is more strategic thanks to a freer-roaming battle system, random character encounters have been eliminated, and cutscenes have been upgraded from 2D to 3D animations.

This is Neptunia 2... so how does it compare to Neptunia 1?
The story is not as interesting because we already know about all the characters and who and what they are. Even though you play the game as the younger sister(s) of the main Goddess(es), it is still kind of the same thing as before.
