Review from a first time halo player...

Ive never played any of the halos so keep that in mind. I wanted to start the series & play it in order so i waited until this came out. Now my biggest gripe is the copy & paste levels, its so anoying not knowing if youve been through the same section or before or not since so much of the game is just copy & paste. The story is the only thing keeping me playing this game, im hoping that halo 2 or halo 3 are not like this. My other gripe is the insta kill invisible eliets are so f'ing anoying, now the industry thank god has gotten rid of that but it was popular back in the day. So part of my issues might not have been issues at all 10 years ago when the game came out so i guess my review isnt fair in that regard, but from someone picking up this game today for the first time & knowing nothing of the seires this is just an ok game, nothing legandary like its made out to be. I am hoping the next games are better.
