This is my first expierence with Halo because i never had a 360 until this year and i must say i am blown away. The graphics are stunning and the gameplay is pretty smooth. I wish it was 3rd person other then driving, flying and holding a shield, but as far as FPS games go, its pretty sick.
Thank god November is a slow month for video game releases, so i an keep this for a long time.
If your a fan of Halo, your definelty gonna love this game.

The Reclaimer Saga Begins.

posted by ihateurmomsson Nov 12, 2012

Shipwrecked on a mysterious world, the Master Chief returns to battle new enemies, deadly technology and an ancient evil bent on vengeance and annihilation. The universe will never be the same.

Alright, so lets jump into the campaign of this "Most Anticipated Game of 2012" first. If you have played this series previous titles you will know that it brings much character and creative story into the world of Master Chief. In this however it focuses more on the relationship of this Spartan and his long time A.I Cortana. It is said that an A.I will die after 7 years and Cortana has been alive for 8. Not only must you worry about her, but on this Forerunner Planet called Requiem you must face a new enemy called Prometheans.

Campaign Rating: The campaign is fun and interesting to say the least, but it is very short. When I say short I mean 4 hours short. Playing coop with a buddy or two is a lot of fun. Legendary is much easier than in previous titles, but hard enough to make you hate yourself for trying. With new enemies and locations the story is more deep than ever and I had a great time jumping into Master Chief's boots once more. Id rate the campaign a 9.

Now on the Multiplayer. The multiplayer is revamped and updated much more than in previous installments. Theres new weapons and Ordinance Drops, which allow you to spawn a weapon after scoring so many points. 343 Industries also includied Custom Loadouts. This has made many fans frustrated for changing to something a little less balanced and a little more easy for new comers. Gamemodes have been cleaned up and still remain fun. Spartan Ops is also new. 343 Industries removed Firefight mode for this weekly episodic mission gamemode. Its very fun and enjoyable with friends.

Multiplayer Rating: The multiplayer is a blend between Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. Its much more fast paced and a little less team based than before. The multiplayer is still very fun and different than any other. Id rate Multiplayer a 10.

Setting new standards

To say this is the best entry in the series is a massive understatement. It is also my Game of The Year. With a massive multiplayer component and the deepest most story driven campaign to date halo 4 will keep players coming back for years to come. And this is a bold statement coming from someone who plays every game that comes out. The only games to come close to even being on its level are Mass Effect 3 or Borderlands 2 with all other paling in comparison. I could go on and on about what makes this game great or I could just tell you that it kicks a##. I'll go with the latter.
