I played both Chains of Olympus & Ghost of Sparta on the PSP and it was awesome to play them both again, on my HDTV and with the twin sticks on the Dualshock controller. CoO looks OK, but given that it was the first God of War made for the PSP it is not surprising that it doesn't look as good as GoS. GoS looks really good, I would say it looks as good, if not better, than the HD GoW 2. CoO was also shorter than GoS but again it was made with mobile gaming in mind, the limitations of the UMD format, and was made first.
If you've never played either title before and are a God of War fan, you really should because they are both excellent. If you've never played a God of War game I would suggest starting with the PS2 collection first, then it doesn't really matter what order you play GoW 3 or this collection in after that.
There are also the challenges of the gods to beat after you finish the story and GoS has a video of the some of the developers talking about making GoW as a bonus as well. I will say that after beating both games & finishing the challenges there isn't much to do except play through again with some of the bonus costumes, playing through on god mode, and looking at concept art type stuff. Since I had already played both games on the PSP I lost interest after playing through on hard & beating all the challenges, but you may get more replay value than I did.

Both of the games are very fantastic. 3D within God of War really adds another layer of immersion to the experience, though I seem to get a slight double image from it. The only reason I know it's this title and not my TV is after swapping through countless titles after, that double image isn't present in other 3D titles. This isn't enough to break the game however or make it any less interesting to play in 3D.
Overall the graphics look amazing for originally being PSP titles and the cut scenes seem to have had tons of upscaling done to them. Overall for anybody that's played the other GoWs I'd fully recommend this one and even go as far as suggesting that it is worth a sale. Two games for $30 here? Two fantastic games at that? Definitely worth it.

I'm not even a god of war fan.. I'm the guy who has a PS3 collecting dust as I play my Xbox... If your at that point where you wonder why you even have a ps3... take a chance on the god of war series... Get this and the 3rd game and play them all through.. Its got a great story line.. and yes its a hack and slash.. nothing that will make your mind boil...
I played them at easy.. I did it for the pure enjoyment of the gameplay and story line... That was enough for me..
There are some puzzles that would frustrate you if you did not have access to google.. but in todays world... no problem!
I enjoyed them ... I was super hesitant to get something that was recreated for ps3.. but I think they did a great job with these games...
