Kratos is back again and is the most brutal and angry than ever before! After the end of God of War II, Zeus escapes his death, and Olympia still stands in Kratos way. Kratos must destroy Zeus and get his retribution.
GAMEPLAY 10/10 - The controls to this game are mostly the same as I and II but the combos and moves seemed to be a little more fluid and smoother. Also, instead of just using the Blades of Exile for most or all of the game as in the previous ones, you now obtain several different weapons, all of them having their own unique abilities and magic/specials as well. The magic and specials are now neatly organized by the weapon it associates to, instead of scrolling with the D-pad for the right one, leaving you vulnerable to enemies. There is also relics that you can use throughout the game, and those have their own mana bar as well. The weapons are powerful and intense, as well as being able to use them for the right kind of enemies that are weak to their ability. Kratos also is more intense and kills everyone in his path and destroys pretty much everything in Olympia as well. This game makes you feel more badas than ever before and it's really enjoyable.
GRAPHICS 9/10 - The graphics of course were going to improve the others, but the detail and lighting of the III gives the game so much more justice than the others. The bosses are more fun to fight since they look realistic and it gives you the sense of what a God is like and how powerful they are. The enemies look a-lot better as well like the Medusa and Sirens.
SOUND 10/10 - The soundtrack is amazing like always. Also the sound of the blades are now more realistic; you can actually here the blades whirling through the air, and smashing against enemies. Some of the characters seem to have different voices now, except Kratos and Athena, but they are a perfect fit for them.
This game deserves a 10/10 because of its great storyline, graphics, and its huge improvements of controls and motion. MUST BUY
