I have never been a gamer that gets bored over a game in a short amount of times. I have played every game I have ever gotten all the way to the end, or pretty darn close [I played Wall-e all the way through for the love of god]. So when Fracture came out and I played the demo, I was PSYCHED OUT. The first level [training] is the exact same thing as the demo, so I just thought to myself I would wait for the next one to truly start playing.
Then, my dreams were crushed. I am not saying the game changed dramatically from the first level to the second one... but it wouldn't have hurt to have SOMETHING different. The next few levels are the exact same thing (raise the ground here, lower it here, through a grenade there) over and over again through different buildings.
The game feels like an EXTREMELY cheap copy of Gears of War [character design, type of gameplay] without the cover system, combined with Halo 3 [the fast paced action and multiplayer-esque feeling]. Sure, the intricate weapons were fun [they have a torpedo that swims in the ground] but only for the first 10 seconds you get them.
I do not recommend this game for anyone, unless you have NEVER played a third person shooter, then you might enjoy it. Download the demo instead, and replay it over and over again..
