Not a very long game at all.

I didn't know I would finish this game in less then 6 hours I think it could have been better if they added more twist and Scarier creatures. But the two player Co Op made it more interesting.

Confusion:
F.3.A.R. is a great game overall. The campaign is enjoying and the plot keeps your attention the whole way threw as long as you have played the first two games in the series. If you haven't played either of the first two games you remained confused and wonder "Who is this little girl I keep seeing" or "Why am I fighting against these guys?"

Co-op and Multiplayer:
For me and my friend (who have both completed the first two games) had a great time in co-op and the multiple multiplayer modes. However if you are renting the game of buying the game you don't get some of the modes.

Call Of Duty Like:
During campaign I was frustrated with how the game has become less like Fear and more like Call of Duty. It seems to be less scary at times and with the add on of regenerating health I felt like I could just rush a battlefield without any consequences.

Overall:

Graphics: 9 Non Linearity: 7 Gameplay: 7 Multiplayer: 9 Co-op: 9

I have been waiting months to play this game and am a huge fan of the first two. But what made me that fan was the intense story and the terrifying environment your put in. In this 3rd part of the series (which is supposed to be the most important one) the game sidetracks from most of the story (only to be briefed by two or more cinema clips) to tell the tail of when point man and ferril were kids. Frankly I don't care I wanted to see the epic story of alma giving birth to a new member of the family. Most of the game is just shoot shoot and shoot people without thinking. It lacks the "scary" of the game although I did like that one room in the 3rd interval. That was what I was looking for just creepy stuff like that. Sadly that was the only trace of that and the ladder scare was too unoriginal and I believe they did that before in the first game (which was way better). I was also sad to find out that monolith were not the ones doing this game which brought a tear to my ear. If (and that's a big IF) they decide to do a 4th installment I hope the learn from their mistakes and stick to the story.
