You know a game is perfect when all you want to do is play, even think about it at work. Like Oblivion and Fallout 3, this is a gorgeous game. You could walk around for hours just admiring every little detail. The music is fantasitc, better than any movie score I've heard this year, and the gameplay is downright perfect. Some minor glitches, and it is very hard in some areas (Save often), but I can not say enough to recommend this game. It is Game of the Year to me, simply for the length and quality of the game....all on one disc.
This game has had me pacing and waiting for its release since the announcement trailer, and I couldn't have hoped for more. This game is the ultimate elder scroll.
They included almost everything I could have ever wanted in an rpg and then went much further. They didn't just add kids, they let you play and interact with them too. They didn't just add dragons, they let you fight, summon, talk, and immitate them too. The shouts that they gave you are amazing. They added some very nice new spells, including elemental cloaks and finally a few spells in the necromancer field like reanimate and permanent summoning/reanimation. The gameplay is much improved, there is a much better variety in quests, many more voice actors, and the exploration and the scenery is the greatest of all.
There is absolutely no game that has ever created a world as great as skyrim. The water is real, with an actual current that can take you to the very ends of the world, there is a wonderful ecology system that makes an unbeatable wildlife experience. The dungeons are unique again and there are some areas of which a shall not spoil, that blew my mind. I could not ask for more, this is the ultimate game for exploration and role playing that has ever been released.
Bethesda has truly finish video gaming. Creating video games has always been ment to top other games and to make gaming better, but Bethesda officially finish the product. Skyrim is THE video game. It blew my mind and will continue to suck up my free time from here on.
