After some time and all the bad press, I figured I'd play it just for fun. I wasn't expecting much. Well, the game wouldn't even install on my system and froze every time I tried. I read that this happened to other folks as well. I guess the game is so bad it doesn't even want you to know just how bad it is.

I never played a Duke Nukem game before this one but that doesn't mean I can't review it, I mean sure the side games could be improved and it pulls the Half-Life style gimmicky puzzles but I liked this game and I find it average. the gameplay isn't a glitchy as some say it is and it isn't a broken game. even though the only MAJOR problem I had is that after the first level, it's mostly a chore, some parts are fun, some are full of Bad___ action that even Dante would say "dude" at. while the rest is just average or boring. If you are a huge Duke Nukem fan, I wouldn't recommend it, if you like Half-Life I would recommend it. I also recommend it to gamers who have a history of liking games that are unpopular towards the community
