I'm a huge fan of Budokai Tenkaichi, and so when this new game came out I expected a similar game, just with more to offer. Instead I got a similar game with much less to offer. The number of characters has been drastically reduced! Story mode has huge gaps in it and still manages to be tedious and slow.
So called "fully destructible environments" don't allow for free movement as in the older game and so strategy has been reduced to one single element: Be the fastest to press "x"!
All in all, while this would be a fun game by its self, when held up against it's predecessor it comes up lacking greatly. It seems that the games should have been in the opposite order.
Sad to say, but this game is horrible and lacking.

Played through the whole story and did as much as I could bare through hero mode.
The vs. mode in this game is so lacking along with every other aspect in the game aside from maybe the graphics.
On most of the burst combos theres a 50 percent chance to hit or miss. It takes no skill to play and is almost entirely based off of stupid luck. I would rate this game a 2/10 and is most definitely the worst dbz game I have ever played.
I played all the other budokais and tenchaichis and barely had a complaint, loved them actually and they were fun, competitive and fast paced. This game on the other hand is pathetic and a waste of ANYONES time.
If you have any skill at fighters or any video games for that matter pass this game up. It never should have been made.
