What Happened to Platforming

This is a very well done game, to say the least. It's got a nice difficulty setting, beautiful graphics and fun collectibles. Now, that being said, I'm wondering what happened to the days of Super Mario Bros. Back when games were challenging, so frustrating you'd break a controller, yet be so horribly addictive that you can't seem to put it down. Now days, you've things that say "Oh, it's too hard for you? Here, walk through it by pressing a button."It kind of makes me worry about the direction gaming is going, but that's neither here or there. Game's fun, and the ability do have the computer walk through the level if it's too hard makes it accessible to most anyone save the true gamer. Kids will enjoy the bright, beautiful art direction and the easy of the first few levels. Adults will enjoy not having to shell out $40 for a new controller 'cause someone lost control and broke theirs. All in all, worth renting, not buying.
