Dead Island for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I thought the game could have been better, was a fun zombie slashing button masher, but moved WAY too slow for a zombie game. Lots of glitches and had to actually back out to the main menu and reload to get out of a room.

Overall the idea was great, they put a lot of effort into the story line and setting up the 'infestation'. I also like the drop in and drop out multiplayer, no need to wait for friends or load a multiplayer match, your always in one!

I only played with game with a friend online and I couldnt see any other way of playing it. The game can be very repetitive as in there are basically 3 main objectives. go here and kill this, go here and bring back this, or go here and turn this on. Once you get to act 2 the game kicks up the difficulty way to high. You find yourself dying more than you want to and run from everything. You hardly have any money and dying all the time makes you lose it all. When you finally do come across a good weapon you have no cash to repair it so your stuck int eh same boat. I give it a 7. Its a good game and worth playing, especially with a few of your xbl buddies.
