game is really good, this game at first seems to be good for 4 player co-op with your friends online right? well WRONG, i HIGHLY suggest this game is to be play by yourself, co-op pretty bad, you and you co-op buddy needs to be at the exact same mission/side quest and its too much of a hassle.
Game is really good single player though Only problem is the auto save!!! the auto save killed my experience, Dead Island using an auto save system that for some reason is BROKEN! it says it saves on the screen and then when i quit and return to play again it will have a way older save, i mean an older save from 3 hours before
EXAMPLE, lets say you put 13 hours of gameplay, when you load its an older save from like 10 hours
its a really good game but unless you want to recover your lost hours over and over again it is not worth it
As a Resident Evil head. I tend to enjoy most Zombie games. This game has a feel part FALLOUT. Part DEAD RISING, part House of dead.
BEST PART OF GAME: Killing Zombies, nothing is greater in game play than killing Zombies. Germany forces from WW II run a close second. There's a huge environment to wonder around in.
Worst part of this game. 1st person, killing Zombie's isn't fun in 1st person. Zombies attacking you from every direction. And you can't see them until they hit you.
1) Map is horrible. Beyond horrible hard to read, 2) Weapons break to easy, 3) You pay for everything, even stuff you take off dead bodies like food and ammo, 4)If you die in one area, you spawn in another. Most time in the middle of near Zombie horde. 5) Driving is bad, no fun in running over Zombie. First person view is horrible. 6) Mission don't show up on GPS, finding the Jungle is insane if you have no idea where it's at.
In the end it's a okay game to mess around with. But compared to Dead Rising and the king of the hill Resident Hill. Not even in their classes.
Better then what most reviewers have been writing.

This game is very good. It does have it's bugs but in all honestly there have been other games with worse bugs then this game has. It's great and a very creative way in making a multiplayer-openworld-rpg. The graphics i think are great. The environments are very beautiful, I just think they could have done better with the characters facial expressions (but this is the same company that worked on Call of Juarez the Cartel, so compared to that game this game is amazing). The skill tree for each character is unique and offer some great advantages especially when working as a team. The multiplayer is set up to let you join people who are at the same level as you or farther back in the game (remember people do set there games to private so don't expect being able to join all willy nilly). The zombies aren't the smartest A.I. but as you level up they sure begin to pack a punch that can get even the most talanted zombie killer some sweaty palms and an urge to call a friend up to get the game now. The game offers a ton of side quests and it rewards beautifully, such as a character that keeps asking for champagne (not the cheap stuff and rewards you with diamonds each time helping you make bank for the next thing you want upgrade and mod. Overall I hope this may help bring a more positive note the game rather then just bashing on how glitch it is.
