Fun to the end

I remember when I played the first Darkness game I had a hard time figuring out where to go. I was finding myself getting stuck in places near the beginning of the game, so I stopped playing it before even knowing what the story was about. I really like part 2 because you always know where to go; with a click of a button it points the direction. I’m so used to playing SWTOR for several hours a day that this is my first console game of 2012 to play. Since I usually put about 15 hours a day into SWTOR, I was able to beat this game in one play through. I know that I enjoyed this game because I played it to the end, lol, but like most console games it seems short to me (I blame MMOs for this, lol). It does have New Game + mode after beating it, which is cool, but in my opinion the game’s just worth renting because there’s not much replay value after that. All in all I had fun playing it, and like all games the fundamental basics of gameplay are a combination of button pressing at different rhythms. So if you have good hand-eye coordination then you should find this game comfortable to play. And one more thing, and this could just be me, but I think of Borderlands and Bioshock when playing it. They’re all 2K games but I don’t know if the same crew is used for each, because Duke Nukem is a 2K game and it didn’t do so well.
I gave this game a 10 because I give almost every game I play a 10, lol, so you don't have to take my word for it; Just try it yourself.
