This game rocks! graphics are near next gen looking. battles are as fierce as ever, dante still has a sense of humor, and who cares about his hair color you fairies. i think he looks cooler like this anyway. always thought the long gray hair was ridiculous

Ninja Theory took a great series and perfected it!

Whether you're a veteran of the franchise or completely new to it, you will love every second of this game.
DMC starts off as a testament to flawless level design. Each mission's environment is beautiful. The stages strike a flawless balance of fast-paced obstacle dodging and exploration at your own pace. It's thrilling to fly through a dimension actively disintegrating around you, but equally fun to purposely run in the wrong direction in search of hidden secrets.
The combat feels fantastic! Every single aspect was tweaked to maximize the enjoyment you get out of going on a stylish rampage. The action is intuitive, partially because the easy weapon switch system allows for customizable on-the-fly combos, and partially because the combat is perfectly designed to teach you as you play. The camera zoom on finishing blows is SO satisfying. Training mode to practice chaining combos together is a long overdue upgrade the franchise needed.
All of Dante's attacks cost the same amount of skill points to obtain, so you won't have to save up points to earn something. You can also mix and match skills to suit your mission needs. Oh, and if you're not sure which move to obtain next? The game has a "Try it before you buy it" button!
There aren't many characters, which actually suits DMC very well because the ones that exist are extremely well voiced & animated, with plenty of depth to them. The new Dante is far cooler and much better of a protagonist than the old - even so, Ninja Theory does a spectacular job of paying homage to the previous series. Hope you like easter eggs...
Boss fights are where DMC really shines! Going into detail would spoil the game, but these bosses are the most fun out of any game I've played in my life.
DMC is a masterpiece on so many levels. It's a rush of enjoyment from start to finish. It's polished, fun and infinitely replayable with tons of bonus content. It flawlessly balances the good aspects of older games with a fresh new style. Worth i
