Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

mw3 is the sequal to mw2 the hit game from 2009 and 2 years later mw3 is out but to the least expectation

story 7/10 it pick right up were modern warfare 2 left off it has some new missions and new teams to play as but the story left me wondering why did they do that but in the end it was good but way to short

graphics 5/10 the graphics are a let down some times it is great but you can still see the pixels i play on 1080p and it feels like the game was toned down

gameplay 6/10 the game play felt like modern warfare 2 and cod 4 its good but outdated they use the same engine 3 years in a row with out an updated vision

multiplayer 5/10 the multiplayer was boring in my own opinion the guns seem way to balanced which is good but some guns have more power than most peopel tend to camp alot more than in mw2 it's almost like black ops but with assassin and peopel have already ruind it but hacking with aim bot and wall hacks not even out for 1 week

over all score is a 5/10

MW3 is pretty much exactly what I expected from the Call of Duty series. The single player campaign was a tad bit short, but was full of fast-paced action that makes the franchise so famous. The environments were impressive. It was actually pretty cool fighting in the war-torn major cities of many different countries. Multiplayer is similar: fast-paced action against other players and trying to rack up kills/points for streaks. I actually really liked the addition of different types of streaks this time around.

The only real problem with the game is what other people have mentioned: its similarity to Modern Warfare 2 and pretty much every single Call of Duty game since Call of Duty 4 (Modern Warfare). The gameplay is more or less the same as it has been for the last few years and I feel like very little is added. You can argue that if someone makes one good game, then it makes sense to keep the formula they had for it for future games. But it seems like they've kept it the same for just too long now and it's gotten stale. I only really got the game because I wanted to see how the story ended, which I was happy with.

While Modern Warfare 3 and the other Call of Duty games are still decent games, it just seems like it's not worth getting a new one every year when it's just going to be more or less the same game with a different story, a different setting, and slightly different weapons and killstreak rewards.
