This game was definitely fun to play. It is basically what you would imagine if Gears of War was set in first person. The problem that I had with this game is the language. I am a foul-mouthed 20-something so this is never really a problem for me. Bulletstorm crossed a line, the stupidity line. The story and characters were smothered in dialogue that made season 1 of South Park seem mature. Here are some examples:
"What the d!ck?"
"You son of a d!ck!"
"You nearly scared the d!ck off me."
Whenever my roommate walked into the room, I was embarrassed to be found sitting in the middle of this circlejerk of a game. I feel like the main pull for this game was to make 11 year old boys giggle. It titles like Bulletstorm that give video games a bad name.
Gameplay was fun though...
