i really liked this game. with at least 100+ guns, this game was fun to play through. the only bad thing i could say about borderlands is throughout the game u fight about 5 bosses, but borderlands also offers a vast amount of monsters that spawn continuously. Unlike other RPG's i've played, when u go into an area where the enemies r a higher level, ur weapons do little to no damage, but when u r a higher level, u can take out the stronger enemies with ease. I thought the graphics and gameplay were well done. This game is worth trying.
As a multiplayer game it is phenomenal. As a single player experience, I would just play more Fallout 3. This is basically Fallout 3, lite, with multiplayer which is the one thing we all wish we could have had in Fallout.
The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are a different stylethan I'm accustomed to but they worked well under the circumstances, and the humor made it all mesh well.
I would say single player it's probably a 6/10 but I gave it a 10/10 because it's one of the best coop or multiplayer options out there right now
There is nothing great about this game...that's the problem. Everything is mediocre to be honest.
There are many alternatives you could play that do it better all around. The story could have been the savior had it hooked you and got you immersed but it was just...meh...kinda played out as I expected once I got what was going on.
This was one of the few games I got excited about that wasn't already an established title i.e. sequel. Game looked fresh, had style, and could have been great. IMO it totally fell flat.
Graphics were a major let down for me. For looking good in the trailers, it sucked visually during actual gameplay. Frame rates were abysmal right from the get go.
