BioShock Infinite: A revolutionary smart game

The moment you pop in the disc: BAM - you see two blue discs pop up on the ps3 menu and guess what? You get the original BioShock to play as well. I just beat BioShock Infinite and I'm installing "BioShock" right now (12 GB xD). I just beat a revolutionary smart game. What I mean by that is it's not just a shoot and cover game and it's...smart. You think a lot. Specific characters really get you thinking and you start to wonder what your role is in the world. Don't let the controls throw you off by the way, although aim is R3 and to use your vigors (special abilities) is linked with L1, as well as melee being triangle, you quickly get used to it. Visuals do not disappoint, cutscenes and gameplay are well balanced, and this game is one of those games where you get to make CHOICES that impact the story! Replay value - This is pretty high since there is a season pass, there are about fifty ways you can attack your enemy (railings in the sky, various weapons, what vigor you will use, try to sneak up or guns a blazing, activating different items by using Elizabeth), you can make alternative choices the second time around, and although there is no multiplayer there is plenty to do. BioShock Infinite definitely pays attention to it's predecessors. This is why I'm gonna play the original bioshock for the first time because there were a lot of references to it. The game ends in a way that allows for more bioshocks. It's not an annoying cliffhanger but it made me want to play a next bioshock game. The game was really long with well packed levels, but I'm only able to say that now because you'll enjoy yourself so much you'll forget about time. It was cool walking around Columbia in 1912 participating in old time stuff and everything seems old yet new at the same time. It's weird but interesting. BioShock Infinite isn't just "another FPS." It seems extraordinarily different than EVERYTHING else in stores today. You care for the characters, you feel like you're up in Columbia.

Never played the previous bio's and halfway thru this i realized i've missed a great franchise. This has a really good storyline which is what lacks in most fps games. As fast paced as the game can be it also allows you to take in your surroundings and find the little nooks to pick up gamer swag. Character development and believabilty is up there with current classics like Red Dead. The setting i thought would be its cheesy downfall and ends up being a creative leap.
Great game, 9/10!

The original Bioshock blew everyone away with its unique underwater setting, creepy atmosphere, amazing art style and unique gun and plasmid gameplay. Bioshock 2 was mainly the same with some cool weapons such as a drill added in but not much improvement. Now we have what has been one of the most followed games of this generation, BioShock Infinite.
First off, this game has one of the most unique settings in video game history, Bioshock 1 and 2 were underwater, Infinite takes place in the city of Columbia, in the sky. The game takes place in 1912 in what seems like a fictional America, given the fact that all around the world you can find a statue of John Wilkes Booth, old quartets singing and much more. The setting is truly gorgeous and has a very unique art style.
Bioshock Infinite is more than just a floating city, the gameplay is what truly makes this game. While the gameplay is very similar to the original Bioshock with weapons and powers, the all new blade/hook that can be used as a weapon or to glide around the massive city on these rails. The hook is the coolest thing because whan you're gliding along on a rail and you see an enemy, you can just look at them press X, jump to and kill them, jump right back on and keep gliding. The story is deep, the gameplay is fun and the game isn't short either. GO BUY THIS GAME!!!
